It is difficult to believe that  Pankaj Khandelwal (1978) is no more. Over the last couple of months, we shared so much on these pages, and his posts- full of his trademark chuckles are resurfacing in my mind, again and again. Wasn’t it only a fortnight ago that he had posted a very satisfying impression of Siddharth Swaroop’s wedding at Goa? From the West, destiny took him to the East where he breathed his last – leaving behind his surgeon and physician friends, shocked and silent. It was only a few months back that I got reconnected with him after 32 years; little did I realise that our bond shall turn out to be so fragile. Rest in peace, Pankaj. We, at Sevagram, shall carefully treasure the footprints that you’ve left behind.
